Terms of Sale / Refunds & Exchanges / Shipping Info

  

We hope you love your products as much as we do. Unfortunately things do not always go to plan and there may be times a refund or exchange is appropriate.


Change of mind will not be accepted for exchange outside of the conditions listed below. Chnge of mind will not be accepted for refund. Please be sure to check your items prior to finalising your purchase.


We have 14 days to exchange or refund, faulty items, see below for returns eligibility. To advise a refund or exchange is required please email info@marumawellbeing.com.au and if possible attach a photograph of the issue. Please note that shipping costs are not refundable. If there is an agreed issue with your product and you would prefer an exchange we are happy to send the new product out to you with no additional shipping charges.
 

Maruma Wellbeing is unable to accept responsibility for any damage that may have been caused during the shipping process. We carefully package items to protect in transit however if you feel you need additional cover please tick our postage guarantee when checking out. For a small fee you are able to further insure your package against damage in transit.

Terms of Sale

All retail prices include 10% GST, wholesale purchases have GST added at checkout.

We dispatch products after payment is received and until then the products remain the property of Maruma Wellbeing. Payment can be made on line with Mastercard or Visa credit card, or by pay pal.

We pack all items securely using either recycled packaging materials or biodegradable packing peanuts. We reuse packing materials  received by us where possible. Portage is undertaken by courier company or Australia Post.  Orders are dispatched quickly after receipt and we aim to have orders completed within 48 hours (business days).


Damages, issues and returns
Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is damaged. As outlined above we are not responsible for damage that happens in transit.

Should you accidentally receive the wrong item, please email immediately info@marumawellbeing.com.auso that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. If we have sent the wrong item, we offer a huge apology and we will cover the cost of shipping the new item to you and will provide return shipping for the incorrect item. Return of incorrect items will only be accepted if they are in the same condition as received and in the correct packaging.

We offer exchange or store credit only on full-priced, non-perishable items (excluding those listed in exclusions below).

To be eligible for an exchange or store credit:

  • You must notify us within 14 days of receiving your order. Our policy lasts 14 days from receiving your item/s. If 14 days have gone by since receiving your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you an exchange or store credit. A confirmation of exchange will be sent upon receiving your notification. 
  • Items must be unused, in original and unopened packaging and received by Maruma Wellbeing P.O.Box 315, Clifton Beach, Queensland, 4879, Australia within 30 days of confirmation of exchange.
  • Return postage is at the customer's expense.

We recommend using a trackable shipping method with signature. Returns cannot be processed until the goods have been received and verified.


Items Not Eligible for Return, Refund or Exchange

  • Sale items, discounted items, or items purchased with a promo code
  • Gift vouchers
  • Hampers or items sent directly as a gift
  • Orders that are shown as delivered by our courier partner (we cannot refund or replace items marked as successfully delivered)
  • Orders that have been delivered to the address as per the order confirmation.


Please note: All items purchased during promotional periods—including Black Friday, Cyber Monday, and clearance or sale events—are final sale. These products are not eligible for refund, exchange, or credit unless they are damaged or faulty upon arrival. We recommend choosing carefully, as discounted items cannot be returned for change of mind.

Exceptions / non-returnable items

As outlined above your purchase is non-refundable except if the product is deemed faulty or defective in accordance with Australian Consumer Law. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item – info@marumawellbeing.com.au
 

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method only. Shipping costs will NOT be refunded. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.


Order Errors or Out-of-Stock Items

If you place an order and we are unable to fulfil an item, we will issue a full refund for that item.

Packaged gifts are individually prepared and if an item within the package is unavailable we will notify you by telephone or email to seek your instructions for a suitable replacement.


Parcels Returned to Sender

If a parcel is returned to us due to an incorrect address, or if it is unclaimed from the post office, a $10 restocking and processing fee will be charged. We can resend the order once this fee is paid, or issue a store credit for the product value (excluding shipping).


Promotions and Discounts

Promotional offers, discount codes, and special pricing are subject to the following terms:

  • Limited-Time Offers: Promotions are valid only for the dates specified. After the promotion period ends, items will return to their regular price.
  • One-Time Use: Discount codes are generally valid for a single use per customer unless otherwise specified. Multiple uses of the same code may result in cancellation of orders.
  • Minimum Purchase Requirements: Some discounts may require a minimum purchase amount before the discount applies. Such requirements will be clearly specified in the offer.
  • Non-Transferable: Promotional offers and discount codes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or credit.
  • Exclusions: Certain items may be excluded from promotions and discounts. This includes hampers, bundles and already discounted products. 
  • Combination of Discounts: Discounts and offers cannot be combined unless expressly stated. Only one discount code can be applied per order.
  • Returns: If an item purchased with a discount is returned, the refund will reflect the discounted purchase price. Promotions may not apply to exchanges or replacements.
  • Eligibility: Discounts and offers are available to customers based in [applicable regions/countries], subject to availability.
  • Changes: We reserve the right to modify or cancel promotions at any time without notice.
  • Free Shipping: Free shipping is not offered to bulk corporate orders that are placed either by telephone or email directly with our team.

  • Product bundles already discounted
  • Hampers

Discounts cannot be combined with other promotions.


Promotions 

Promotional coupons cannot be applied in conjunction with other discounts and/or promotions.


Limitation of Liability

Maruma Wellbeing provides full details of ingredients used in the creation of their products. Check ingredients for products prior to purchase to ensure safe usage. Seek advice from your regular GP should you have skin or respiratory issues prior to using products. Products are not recommended for young children, infants, or animals unless specifically marked as suitable. Essential oils require use with care, do not ingest and keep away from eyes and other sensitive areas. These products outline the benefits of essential oils and do not claim to be healing or treatments. These products do not replace medical treatments or advice from registered medical professionals.


As products are hand poured/created, all care is gone into mixing and ratios of products. This may vary from time to time along with the physical appearance of an item in terms of colour, shape and size. This may differ from what is displayed on the Website.


Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any guarantees, warranties, representations or conditions implied or imposed by law, including the Australian Consumer Law (or any liability under them) which by law may not be limited or excluded. 


Social Media

Please note that by posting comments, posts, tagged photos, videos, ideas, or any other content on our Social Media Sites; Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest and YouTube, you are granting Maruma Wellbeing non-exclusive, worldwide rights to republish, redistribute, or otherwise use this content (including your name, profile photo, likeness and social media handle or other publicly shared information) in perpetuity in any way we see fit. This includes, but is not limited to, marketing and advertising materials.


We ask that comments remain on topic and are respectful. This means that comments should relate to the topic that is being discussed within that post. Maruma Wellbeing reserves the right to remove posts that do not fit within the spirit of our guidelines, are offensive or abusive. Our social media sites are not the forum for claims, demands or any other form of legal and/or administrative notice or process. These comments will be removed. Please contact us on info@marumawellbeing.com.aushould you wish to discuss any of these issues. 


Shipping Info

We aim to dispatch all orders within 2-3 business days from postcode 4878. During peak periods such as sales events or Christmas, please allow an additional day for dispatch. As we are located in far north Queensland, in the event of inclement weather that interferes with regular postal services we will advise you of approximately when products will be available to ship. For estimated delivery times to your area, we recommend checking the Australia Post website.


Address Accuracy & Redelivery

  • Please ensure your delivery address is correct, including suburb and postcode, before finalising your order.
  • We are not responsible for parcels sent to incorrect addresses or those not collected in time from your local post office.
  • If a parcel is returned to us due to an incorrect address or being unclaimed, redelivery fees will apply, and we do not cover the cost of return postage in such cases.


Shipping Within Australia

  • All orders are shipped via Australia Post.
  • Free standard shipping is available on all Australian orders over $120.
  • Orders under $120 will incur a flat shipping rate of $16.
